Squidoo is down and this is what shows when you to access the site:

Just out of curiosity, I Googled this message “OOOPS! Squidoo’s tentacles are in a twist” to see if I can find any news on this message as to why the site is down. I ran into several sites and pages covering this topic which pretty much say that same thing happened before due to a server being down which took Squidoo several hours to fix. New visitors including lens masters at this time were not able to access the site.

However, if you look at the message closely, you will it says you are supposed to be sleeping now while Squidoo do their routine maintenance Looks like their default site down message which is used anytime the site is down for any reason. I found the message very entertaining but got one thought in my mind. It is sleeping time in North America, what about Europe or Asia? They are having coffee or some already finished half of their day.
