I see a growing trend of interest among money making webmasters and online business owners on Yahoo! Answers. Site owners are utilizing Yahoo! Answers as a method of marketing with an intention of gaining some exposure to their sites.
However, we all know that Yahoo! Answers uses nofollow attribute on the external links therefore links on this platform will not give you any PR juice or backlinks. Since this is a popular platform, it is OK to gain a little exposure by getting your site around the system which might work for some as a branding purpose, but you are out of luck if you are looking to get backlinks for your site.
Nothing to get disappointed about as there are sites just like Yahoo! Answers where you can get backlinks form. I did a lot of research to find few good Yahoo! Answers clones but only came across one site that was worthy of my time. So what is the Yahoo! Answers clone site that gives you dofollow backlinks?

I consider yahoo answers to be one of the most targeted traffic generating methods. I have tried others and there isn’t enough action happening to make me go back
