Add the Proper Tags: You will be prompted to add at least two tags (keywords) for your new hub. You can add additional tags at that time or add some more at a later period. Proper tags can give you a lot of SEO value and sometimes even some internal traffic. If you look at the right sidebar, you will see a few other related hubs owned by others being displayed. They are selected by Hubpages as relevant hubs based on your hub theme, content, and tags. Better your tags are, more your hub will be featured on other hubs giving your own hub more backlinks and traffic.

Promote your New Hub: What good is a hub if no one knows about it? Either you have to spread the word or SEO it so that it can be found on search results. Here are some methods of hub promotion which will give you traffic and backlinks to your hub thereby increase your hub score:

o Submit your hub RSS feed to feed and ping directories
o Bookmarks your hub on various social bookmarking sites
o Submit your hub to deeplink directories (link directories that accept deeplinks or inner pages)
o You can use your hub link in your forum signatures or email signatures
o Write topic relevant articles and submit them to article directories linking back you your hub (traffic + backlink to your hub)

How to Get a Dofollow Backlink
